End of Line

NZTA has developed a temporary road safety barrier (RSB) workshop to assist contractors and consultants to ensure that only conforming systems are installed.

Later this year it is intended to become mandatory that all temporary RSB installations be carried out under the supervision of a qualified person. To qualify the individual must have attended and passed both:

  • the RSB Installation , Maintenance and Inspection (IMI) Workshop, and
  • the Temporary RSB Workshop.

The new Temporary RSB Workshop is a one day course involving both theory and practical sessions. The first two courses will be held in Auckland on 15-16 April 2014.
The cost will be $450 + GST.

An IMI Workshop will be held in Takapuna from 9-11 April 2014. The theory will be delivered on the afternoon of 9 April and the one day practical sessions will be held 10-11 April.

The registration flyers for both courses will be available from Friday 28 February 2014 here:
