Tuesday 21 April 2020
The Government has announced that New Zealand will be shifting to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 as of Tuesday 28 April. The following sets out what our operations will look like as we approach and enter Alert Level 3.
- No customers will be allowed on site on Tuesday 28 April
- Deliveries from our site and customer collections (“call and collect”) can commence from Wednesday 29 April
For the remainder of Alert level 4, we will be available via email and phone for customer enquiries and sales processing, but deliveries and customer collections will not be allowed until we enter Alert Level 3. Where we can do so safely, we will continue to fulfil customer orders that qualify as “essential business” in line with our operating procedures under Alert Level 4.
In order to ensure the safe return to work for our front-line employees we will not be allowing any customers access to our site on Tuesday, 28 April while we complete employee safety re-inductions and ensure our teams have all the necessary resources to complete work safely.
Commencing Wednesday 29 April order deliveries will resume, and customers will be able to collect product from site. Customers collecting product must provide their own PPE and follow all instructions from staff, as well as practicing the correct social distancing and public health measures. Please ring in advance to notify us you wish to pick up any orders.
For the duration of Alert Level 3 we will not be allowing customers to enter the site office to place orders. All sales must be placed via email or phone in advance.
We will continue to support all of our customers throughout this period and try to maintain our high service standards, however we ask that our customers be understanding of the limitations that will be caused due to the restrictions of Alert Level 3. Customer orders that qualify as “essential business” will continue to be prioritised in order to support essential businesses during this time.
We acknowledge the processes we have put in place may create some temporary inconvenience, however we have done so with the ongoing health of our employees, our customers and the wider community in mind. We are continuously reviewing the situation and will look to amend our process as and when guidance from the Government changes.
