Since midnight Wednesday 25th March, New Zealand has been at COVID-19 Alert Level 4, at which time we closed our CSP Pacific sites to operations unless exempt under “Essential Business”.
We understand our products are a critical part of the supply chain for several customers, and over the last week we have received several requests from you to supply product.
While we always endeavour to service the needs of our customers, at this time our priority is the safety of our people and of our communities. As such we are striving to follow the regulations currently in place as stringently as possible.
If you believe you are exempted under “Essential Business” and have any requests for supply from stock, then please feel free to call your normal CSP contact and we can arrange the appropriate support. We are not in a position to manufacture any goods at present or to complete jobs that we had started on before the lockdown.
As we are dealing with requests on a case by case basis, we ask that where possible you have a clear justification for your request to supply product, along with any supporting documentation from relevant government departments available. Please also note that under these special conditions we may be required to charge a Service Fee to partially offset the extraordinary costs we incur when opening stores on an exceptional basis.
We acknowledge the processes we have put in place may create some temporary inconvenience, however we have done so with the ongoing health of our employees, our customers and the wider community in mind. We are continuously reviewing the situation and will look to amend our process as and when guidance from the Government changes.
We will continue to support all of our customers throughout this period with a core team working remotely to respond to customer enquiries and support essential business operations.
