The Connectus Alliance - the contractors in charge of building the cut-and-cover trenches along Albert Street - have been doing their best to keep traffic moving, whilst keeping their workers safe, by using CSP Pacific’s ArmorZone™ TL-2 Plastic Barrier.

A new subdivision in Flat Bush has seen the first installation in the Auckland region of CSP Pacific’s Super•Cor® Arch - a super strong, galvanized steel structure - to enable access  across a stream on the development. The Super•Cor® Arch was chosen because of its cost effectiveness and the fact that it could be installed without disturbing the stream bed and the fish.

The Waikato Expressway is getting a lot of attention along SH1 between Pokeno and Cambridge, with a number of major projects underway. In conjunction with this the NZ Transport Agency, under the Safe Roads Programme, has also started work on improving the section of highway between Bombay and Hampton Downs.

To control grass growth around the base of galvanized steel streetlight columns, maintenance contractors have traditionally used weed killers. While effective on grass, some weed killers can seriously affect the life span of the columns.

While the Nu-Guard® 31 Guardrail System is traditionally installed with a steel driven post there is also a flange base variant of the post. This post is for use on the NZ Transport Agency concrete ground beam where services or ground conditions do not allow the use of a driven post. This flange based Nu-Guard® 31 post is fixed differently from traditional flange based bridge posts.

After this time site access will be closed for safety shutdowns being carried out prior to the Christmas break.
Galvanizing services for new orders and specialist products will be available from Monday 15 Jan 2018.
