Lighting up the Twin Coast Discovery Highway

Oclyte® Streetlight Columns

The Twin Coast Discovery Highway will be even brighter as it passes through Whangarei City thanks to a lighting upgrade undertaken by Currie Electrical on behalf of Whangarei District Council. The upgrade has included the installation of new LED lighting units along with 121 Oclyte® Streetlight Columns – to improve safety.

CSP Pacific’s barriers in use on the new Kawarau bridge - from start to finish

Kawarau Falls Bridge

The new, stylishly curved Kawarau Falls Bridge on the main route to Southland and Fiordland officially opened in May. The contract to construct the new 250m bridge was awarded to McConnell Dowell by the NZ Transport Agency, with the Downer team undertaking traffic management. Both contractors relied on CSP Pacific’s products to complete the project - water filled temporary barriers for traffic management - used right from the outset, and road safety barrier on the approaches to the new bridge - once complete.

Voytek Wieczorek   Maria Magele-Welch

After working with CSP Pacific for many years, Voytek Wieczorek was appointed in May to the newly created role of Engineering and Technical Support Manager – a role that enables CSP Pacific to offer an in-house engineering design service.
