The long-awaited City Rail Link (CRL) project is finally gaining momentum with enabling works underway on the first stages of Auckland's new, much needed underground rail system.  It is estimated the CRL will take approximately five years to complete. During this time traffic will be kept flowing, and pedestrians and workmen kept safe, with the assistance of CSP Pacific’s traffic management products - ArmorZone™ TL-2 Plastic Barrier and Variable Message Signs.

An in depth study carried out by Auckland Council in 2012 identified a major shortfall in sports field capacity, particularly for training purposes. So, in order to cater for projected demand in the city, the Council devised its Sports Field Development Programme which allocates $190m over 10 years for the development, upgrade and renewal of sports fields across the Auckland region. In some cases this has meant the installation of new Oclyte® Floodlight Columns from CSP Pacific.

Over the last few years streetlights have transitioned from High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (MH) light fittings to Light Emitting Diode (LED) light fittings. LED light fittings are more energy efficient, have a longer lifespan and are safer than HPS and MH conventional street lighting.

With the LED light fittings being heavier than traditional fittings, CSP Pacific has validated the design of all our streetlight columns to ensure that they are fit for purpose and can be used with LEDs.
