Following the Christchurch earthquakes, a 200m section of Fitzgerald Ave’s northbound lane came precariously close to sliding into the adjacent picturesque Avon river as a result of major subsidence.
The Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT) appointed the Downer delivery team to undertake repairs to the road which included rebuilding a retaining wall, carriageway, cycleway and footpaths. The road would be completed with CSP Pacific’s road safety products.

The last major bottleneck in Auckland’s central motorway network was unplugged when the Victoria Park Tunnel (VPT) opened in November 2011 with the final lane opened to the public in March this year.
At the heart of the project was the construction of an additional on-ramp to the Auckland Harbour Bridge, available only during peak hours when the movable barrier was moved out.
CSP Pacific’s SWIFTGATE™ automated lane closure solution was selected as it is able to open and shut the on-ramp access point daily and also integrate into the complex IT network.

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has accepted for use on the State Highway network two details specifically for the Nu-Guard 31™ steel guardrail system - Trailing Terminal End and Curved Terminal Installation at an intersection with a minor road.
