CSP Pacific is pleased to introduce the new ImpactProtect Motorcyclist Protection System, which provides padding to roadside safety barrier system posts, reducing the risk of serious injury to motorcyclists and cyclists during a post impact. Developed in Australia by road safety systems and engineering specialists LB Australia Pty Ltd, ImpactProtect has been tested at the RTA Crash Lab in Australia with a Headform Drop Test and can withstand acceptable HIC values at an impact speed of 30kph.

Reducing the risks posed by future earthquakes has been at the forefront of reviews by asset owners and organisations around the country since the devastating earthquakes in Christchurch five years ago.

After a review in 2011, the Ministry of Education (MoE) deemed the 90 year-old main classroom block of Wellington East Girls College as vulnerable. In 2015 the MoE unveiled plans for the old block to be rebuilt. The work also included the upgrading of a seismically unstable carpark which was completed with CSP Pacific’s Nu-Guard® PVB® Steel Guardrail system.

The Auckland City Council Plan has identified that the suburb of Onehunga will experience significant change over the next 30 years, prompting the commencement of the Onehunga Mall Streetscape Project. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the upper section of Onehunga Mall by upgrading the streetscape – including brand new, stylish ‘Tamaki’ streetlight columns from CSP Pacific.

The New Zealand Transport Agency’s Te Atatu Interchange upgrade aims to increase capacity on Auckland’s Northwestern motorway between Te Atatu and Lincoln Road by, among other things, raising the Te Atatu Rd overbridge. CSP Pacific’s products have once again been chosen for the upgrade, with the stylish VGAN 300 Aluminium Bridge Parapet System being ideal for the overbridge barrier.
