NEW – Anchorbloc™ a new improved retaining wall system
“We have developed Anchorbloc™ with the assistance of Holmes Solutions to improve on our retaining wall offer to customers,” said Sue Walker, Marketing and Export Engineer, CSP Pacific. “We have taken the best features of both ARMOUR-BLOCK and MassBloc™, our existing retaining wall systems, and combined them into one easy to use, cost effective product. Anchorbloc™ are manufactured nationwide and will be stocked at Humes Sales Centres around New Zealand for small or immediate projects from March onwards. Click here for locations.
Please note for extensions to existing projects MassBloc™ will still be available on request.
Anchorbloc™ is a modular concrete block designed to form an integrated segmental retaining wall system. It is versatile in its application and provides considerable advantages over other retaining wall systems.
Benefits include:
- Straight or curved layouts
- Used as a gravity wall or facing for a reinforced earth slope
- Can integrate with geotextiles for a full structural connection
- Fast construction
- No on-site concrete required
- Ability to dismantle and re-erect
- Ability to plant barriers, fences and or vegetation in the void
- Design software and support available

Breakaway Sign Post System chosen for the East Taupo Arterial
The East Taupo Arterial (ETA) is currently under construction and runs along the eastern outskirts of Taupo from Wairakei to Taupo Airport and once complete the new road will be an alternative route for SH 1.
“CSP Pacific has been awarded the large sign mounting system contract for this new arterial route,” said Zalman Paris, Business Unit Manager CSP Pacific. “It is good to see that this cost effective, easy to install system is being picked up by the industry.”

Nu-Guard 31™ helps keep the MHX project on schedule
The MHX is a key existing motorway bridge connecting Auckland and Manukau City. The existing crossing services SH20 from the city to the Airport and the local community between Onehunga and Mangere Bridge township.
“The MHX Alliance have chosen the Nu-Guard 31™ Steel Guardrail System and have ordered more than 3.5kms for this project,” said Raymond Kuys, Business Development Engineer.

Safety a number one priority on SH20 to 1
“This is a huge project and to provide the ‘lateral safety zone’, the area behind the barrier and in front of our workers, we have to use the correct Test Level barrier for that particular speed environment,” said Jeff Roberts, Project Engineer –Traffic for Leighton Works. “CSP Pacific have been really great in that I can give David at CSP Pacific an order for barriers and crash cushions and within 24 hours it’s on site. Their service is first class.”
