NEW - U-MAD™ Trailer TMA offers increased safety for roadside workers
CSP Pacifc’s range of U-MAD™ TMAs (truck mounted attenuators) has now been extended to include a trailer-mounted version.
“The U-MAD™ Trailer TMA units offer the ultimate in flexible, low cost protection in any short term work area,” says Andy Holmes, Traffic Control Product Manager for CSP Pacific.

Oclyte Tuff Coat™ - a wise investment for galvanised steel structures
The micro-climates for many galvanised steel products (ie the use of weed sprays, corrosive/rough soils or damage from installation) often means that traditional galvanising at the base of steel structures is just not enough to prevent the deterioration of the steel.
After extensive testing and analysis CSP Pacific have launched Oclyte Tuff Coat™, a 100% solids (ie solvent free), high build polyurethane elastomer coating, which is specifically engineered to add corrosion, abrasion and impact resistance to galvanised structures.
“With a 20 year system warranty we strongly believe that protecting in-ground Hot Dip galvanised steel structures with Oclyte Tuff Coat™ is a very wise investment,” says Katalin Csikasz, Engineering and Pole Product Manager, CSP Pacific.

Orange TL-1 hire barriers out in numbers
Work began in April of 2008 on the Central Connector project undertaken by Auckland City Council to provide quicker bus travel and improved cycle and pedestrian facilities between the CBD and Newmarket.
“Initially we thought we would be upgrading small sections of the road at a time,” said Stuart Baulch, SQTCE Manager, for Fulton Hogan Ltd. “So we purchased what we thought would be a sufficient number of water filled and pedestrian barriers to cordon off work zones from existing traffic flows.”
“However deadlines changed and we were required to work on much larger sections of road at a time. My predecessor had dealt with David Russell, the Hire Manager for CSP Pacific on previous projects and when I contacted him to see if he was able to assist with additional barriers he was happy to help,” added Stuart.

Telecom combines street lighting and telecommunications in CSP Pacific’s columns
Telecom/Alcatel Lucent recently commissioned CSP Pacific to design and manufacture the latest version of their
antenna / streetlight column for their utility network.
“When the opportunity arose to prove our capabilities on this project we jumped at the chance,” said Katalin Csikasz, Engineering & Pole Product Manager for CSP Pacific.
