NEW – Oclyte Tuff Coat™ An exclusive revolutionary coating for galvanised steel structures.

CSP Pacific has undertaken extensive research in sourcing a protective coating system that will extend the service life of their galvanised poles and other structures, especially at and below ground level.

“After extensive testing and analysis we are very pleased to launch Oclyte Tuff Coat™, a 100% solids (ie solvent free) high build polyurethane elastomer coating, which is specifically engineered to add corrosion, abrasion and impact resistance to galvanised structures which will ultimately extend their life span,” said Katalin Csikasz, Engineering and Pole Product Manager, CSP Pacific.

CSP Pacific, Humes and Firth collaborate on new barrier for Auckland Harbour Bridge

The quick change moveable barrier (QMB), currently in use on the Auckland Harbour Bridge was installed in 1990 and, after eighteen years of service, the New Zealand Transport Agency were looking for it to be upgraded.

Barrier Systems Inc (BSI), USA agent for Armorflex Group with whom CSP Pacific have an exclusive manufacturing and distribution agreement, was included in the tender.

“BSI knew we had a concrete arm to our business with the Humes Group,” said Zalman Paris, Business Unit Manager, CSP Pacific. “Through Humes Hamilton Civil we were able to come up with a quality system and competitive price.”

All 2000 individual barrier segments are now waiting on the northern side of the bridge for installation and two new lane-barrier moving vehicles, which should arrive early in 2009.
