Lograil ticks all the boxes
A large sweeping corner on busy Grays Road, bordering the Porirua Harbour in Wellington, is notorious for drivers losing control and ending up on the mud flats. The development of a walkway along this section of the inlet has prompted the Porirua City Council to safeguard motorists and pedestrians on the proposed walkway by installing CSP Pacific’s Lograil Barrier.

Nu-Guard 31™ system : extremely quick and easy to install
The winding Rimutaka Hill Road on SH2 is well known to motorists in the region and is notorious for road accidents prompting NZTA to focus on the upgrade and improvement of the road barrier on the hill to improve safety.
“The banks fall away sharply in places which meant we were able to specify the use of Nu-Guard 31™ Steel Guard Rail System as the NUCOR steel posts require less bank behind them,” said
Barry Wilkinson, Road Design Engineer for MWH Global.

ArmorZone™ TL-2 temporary workzone protection system – available for hire or purchase
ArmorZone™ TL-2 Plastic Barrier is made up of plastic units that are joined together using a steel pin connector and filled with water. This provides a positive work zone barrier protection to temporary construction sites and other miscellaneous roadside activities. ArmorZone™ TL-2 Plastic Barrier has been designed and tested to meet the evaluation criteria of NCHRP 350 Test Level 2 (TL-2) for a longitudinal barrier.
When the ArmorZone™ Terminal End treatment unit is used with the barrier the installation does not need to be flared or shielded.
ArmorZone™ TL-2 Plastic Barrier is the world’s first 100% polyethylene water filled barrier with no steel reinforcement. The unique polyethylene composition, profile design and steel pin connector allow the barrier to be installed straight or curved to a minimum radius of 28m if required.
The system has been tested to meet the evaluation criteria of NCHRP 350 Test Level 2 (TL-2) - compliant for a posted speed limit of 70kph roads.
ArmorZone™ TL-2 Barrier and End Treatment has NZTA interim approval for use on the State Highway roading network and will be included in the soon to be released M23 Appendix B for temporary barriers.
The ArmorZone™ TL-2 Barrier and End Treatment is available for hire or purchase. ArmorZone™ is an ideal hire solution for temporary roadside protection without having to invest in product you may not use again.
